The latest V-Bat prototype has completed autonomous hover testing in winds up to 20 mph. This version is 65 lb with full fuel load and can fly 500 miles at 90 mph with duration of 6 hours. A 3rd generation flight control system was developed by MLB for VTOL and fixed wing aircraft and is installed in the V-Bat 3.0 prototype.
